Co-founder of Yaletown Venture Partners in 2001, Steve Hnatiuk has 20 years' experience in technology, business development, and private investment. As investing partner until 2010, Mr. Hnatiuk led investments in Partnerpedia, Genologics and Mixpo, which in 2009 was named to the OnMedia100 list of the most promising private digital media companies in North America. Mr. Hnatiuk started TD Bank's technology finance group in BC during the 1990s, a formative decade in the region's technology industry. He began his career as a software engineer with Accenture and served as an executive in the Technology and Entertainment group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Hnatiuk serves on the boards of DigiBC, the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, Science World's Capital Cabinet, the Pacific Parklands Foundation, and serves on the editorial boards of Canadian Private Capital magazine and Business in Vancouver newspaper.
