Luke Acker is a finance associate at Pacific Carbon Trust, responsible for financial and operational reporting, investment and budgetary analysis and general accounting – both managerial and financial.
Before coming to PCT, Luke worked with a broad array of organizations to develop a range of business knowledge. Most recently, he was a real estate development analyst for Victoria’s Abstract Developments. At Dalhousie University, he was a teaching assistant in the accounting program. Prior to that, he worked as a technology and e-commerce consultant for Industry Canada and as a sales and marketing coordinator at a private career college in Halifax.
Luke is currently a candidate for both the CMA and CFA designations. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management and Accounting from Dalhousie University.
In his free time, Luke’s sights are firmly set on outdoor adventure. A surfer, kite-boarder and cross-country mountain biker, Luke is also certified as a diver and sailing instructor, and is a member of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club.
