Kate Shaw is a sales analyst at Pacific Carbon Trust, responsible for building BC’s low carbon economy by increasing voluntary offset sales and through public outreach.

Before coming to PCT, Kate worked in sustainability with public and private sector organizations, developing a holistic perspective of the challenges and opportunities associated with transitioning to low carbon business practices. Most recently she worked as the Sustainability Coordinator for Sysco Kelowna, where she was responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Kate graduated with distinction from the Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Victoria in 2011. She is currently working towards obtaining her Canadian Securities Certificate and intends to pursue her MBA in coming years with a focus on sustainable business.

In her spare time Kate can be found running along Dallas Road, practicing yoga, or kickboxing.
