David Muter is managing director of strategic acquisitions at Pacific Carbon Trust, responsible for contracting offsets and ongoing contract management.

David brings to PCT extensive experience in bio-energy, product development and business analysis. Prior to joining Pacific Carbon Trust, David was a market economist with FPInnovations where he was responsible for analyzing and developing new forest based bio-products and providing strategic advice to clients on emerging market opportunities. David also served as a technical analyst with Tembec Industries where he was responsible for developing and implementing new product ideas.

David has a bachelor of science in wood products processing and is currently working towards his CFA designation. 

David and his family are avid sailors and spend most of their spare time sailing the Gulf Islands.
