Our engagement process begins with the Project Information Document (PID), which describes the project in summary, and allows our business development staff to make a preliminary assessment of the viability of the project, including commercial, environmental and other co-benefits and risks. If the PID review is favourable, we can begin to negotiate commercial terms for the acquisition of offsets.
Throughout the development process, our staff are available to support your efforts. They’ll help you interpret the BC emission offsets regulation, suggest protocols for use and inform your understanding of additionality. They’ll also provide guidance to ensure that project plans, reports, validation and verification are efficiently completed to the standards set by the emission offsets regulation. Our experience in the offset market will help you maximize the potential of your offset project.
