Offset company Pacific Carbon Trust has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for emission reductions from bio-coal in British Columbia.

The company, owned by the government of British Columbia, announced on Thursday that it is offering to buy greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions from fuel-switching projects where coal and other GHG-intensive fuels are replaced by bio-coal.
